Excel Direct

Excel Direct was conceived of and created in 2008.  Its mission is simple: to make big company solutions available to small, specialty insurance brokers. Our philosophy is that most of the coverage needs of the smaller agent are the same as larger competitors, and products should be available. 

We look for candidates that meet the following description:

• at least 50% of business generated by “specialty” activities
• no loss for 5 years or 1 loss addressed afterwards by specific remediation
• retained commission revenues at or under $1,000,000
• there are ineligible classes, but most specialties can be considered
